Suzanne Strassburger Biography
Suzanne Strassburger is the CEO and owner of Strassburger Meats. A fifth-generation Strassburger, she is the first woman to run the company. Strassburger says she was three years old when she first decided to take over the family business. As a kid, she eschewed selling Girl Scout cookies and instead learned to cook steak for her friends.
She is also the President of Suzy Sirloin all-natural meat products, and the founder of The Sirloin Report, a daily, industry-leading online report about beef.
Strassburger attained a Masters of Beef Advocacy from the National Cattleman's Beef Association and at the age of 50, enrolled in Harvard Business School's executive management program.
She is a Zenith Member of the Women's Presidents Organization and was named to Forbes' "50 Over 50" list. She sits on several boards including the North American Meat Institute, Ace Programs for the Homeless, the US Meat Export Federation, and the Beef Industry Long-Range Plan Task Force.
