Terry Young

Terry Young, a noted Futurist, Innovation, and Brand Consultant, launched his first digital startup in 1995 at IPG and built it to a top 50 digital agency at the age of 27. He then joined McKinsey & Co. in Greater China where he worked with Fortune 500 C-suite executives and incubated new startups and internet companies. Bringing his strategy and digital experience to prominent CRM firms at Omnicom (Targetbase and RAPP) and ultimately Epsilon, his expertise in digital, CRM experiences, technology platforms, and consumer behavior led him to architect Sparks & Honey and develop a next-generation marketing approach called Wave Branding.

Young also spent 27 months volunteering in Uralsk, Kazakhstan, supporting microcredit financing initiatives, incubating new businesses, and launching programs for the local orphanage. He believes that each experience has provided him with a unique perspective on life and a deep understanding of people and culture, which has shaped his vision for Sparks & Honey. As the CEO of Sparks & Honey, he specializes in identifying trends that disrupt global consumers and reshape organizations and industries. He works with Fortune 500 companies and startups on new product and service design, internal innovation design, and brand innovation.
