Thomas A. Atchison, Ed.D., is the President and founder of Atchison Consulting LLC. Since 1984, Dr. Atchison has been actively involved in consulting with various healthcare organizations, the military, healthcare vendors, and government agencies on managed change programs, teambuilding, leadership development, and the intangible aspects of healthcare. He frequently facilitates interventions and development sessions focusing on Trustee Development, Physician Alignment, Executive Team Building, Strategic Thinking, and Conflict Management.
Dr. Atchison has authored multiple best-selling books on healthcare leadership, including "Turning Healthcare Leadership Around", "Leading Transformational Change: The Physician-Executive Partnership", "FOLLOWERSHIP: A Practical Guide to Aligning Leaders and Followers," "LEADERSHIP: The Deeper Dimensions", and "Leading Healthcare Cultures: How Human Capital Drives Financial Performance." These publications have established him as a prolific author in the field. Additionally, he has produced four 90-minute Employee Engagement Videos aimed at maximizing sustainable employee engagement within the healthcare industry.
A respected educator, Dr. Atchison has taught several courses on leadership and change management for the American College of Healthcare Executives.
