Tom Lix

Tom Lix is the CEO and founder of Cleveland Whiskey LLC in 2009 and serves as its Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Lix served as the President and Chairman of Cleveland Whiskey LLC.

Previously, Lix held executive level positions at a variety of companies, including Decision Analytics, MarketPulse, Public Interactive, Inc., The Institute for Applied Network Security, and L9 LLC, a private angel investment company which he founded.

Most notably, Lix served as the President and Chief Operating Officer of Yankelovich Partners. Prior positions included Senior Vice President, Director for Market Response Modeling and Vice President, Director, Research and Development. In these roles at Yankelovich, he consulted for leading food, beverage, hospitality and entertainment companies including Guinness PLC, Proctor & Gamble, H. J. Heinz Company, Unilever, PepsiCo, The Clorox Company, Burger King, Harrah’s Entertainment and the InterContinental Hotel Group PLC.

Lix has also consulted to leading media companies and brands such as HBO®, Time magazine and MTV Networks; travel and transportation companies including American Airlines, Amtrak and Northwest Airlines; as well as service delivery and technology innovators that included FedEx® and Visa.

He served as a professor of entrepreneurship and the Director at the Center for Entrepreneurship at Lake Erie College.

He earned his doctorate in marketing from Boston University.
