Tom Mison Biography
Tom Mison is an English actor. He trained at the Webber-Douglas Academy.
He is a critically acclaimed theatre actor. His large theatre resume includes the European premiere of Andrew Bovell's "When the Rain Stops Falling" at the Almeida Theatre; "Posh" by Laura Wade at the Royal Court Theatre in 2010 and the Duke of York's Theatre in London's West End in 2012; and playing Prince Hal in "Henry IV Parts 1 & 2," directed by Sir Peter Hall.
In 2008 he and his Webber Douglas contemporary Rupert Friend filmed the short "The Continuing and Lamentable Saga of the Suicide Brothers," which they wrote and in which they play the title characters with Keira Knightley as The Fairy. The film had its premiere screening in London in June 2009.
Writing for the stage includes "Wood," "Bounded" and "The Life Man of Portland Mews."
Mison has also appeared in TV shows and films like "Lost in Austen," "One Day" and "Salmon Fishing in the Yemen." He stars as Ichabod Crane in the upcoming FOX series "Sleepy Hollow," a modern-day take on "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow," which follows Ichabod as he partners with Sleepy Hollow's local female sheriff to solve the mysteries of a town ravaged by the battle between good and evil.
