Travis Lloyd

Travis Lloyd is the Owner and President of Changing Lives Entertainment, LLC, a speaking and consulting business serving systems of care, personal brands, beginning professional speakers, and both public and private child-welfare and mental health organizations.

After volunteering on the National Board of Directors for multiple years, Lloyd accepted the nomination as President of Foster Care Alumni of America, a national non-profit organization where he continues to hold the position. Lloyd's story has been shared on stages internationally and in nearly all 50 states. It's a story of overcoming generational cycles of abuse through a mindset shift that was inspired by "Just 1 Person" at a time. After a journey through foster care and institutions, Lloyd became a powerful advocate for positive systemic change. Lloyd's story started as a youth when receiving services from child welfare and mental health agencies, but it took a drastic turn when he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree and began working in those same systems as a Registered Nurse. This dual perspective allowed him to view these services from a lens that was far beyond his education. After serving as a psychiatric nurse, ER nurse, and Mental Health Mobile Crisis Worker, this perspective opened doors to advocate for organizational change at local, state, and national levels. He facilitates the "Strategic Sharing Panel" which encourages systemic change by amplifying the voices of end-users such as service recipients and students. Lloyd's approach in panels promotes self-reflection, empowerment, and discussions on creating cultural shifts in workplaces.
