Trinity Rodman

Trinity Rodman is a professional soccer player for the National Women's Soccer League's Washington Spirit and has represented the United States on various national teams, including the senior, under-20, and under-17 teams. Being the daughter of NBA legend and Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame member Dennis Rodman, she made her mark in the world of soccer at a young age.

Rodman's selection as the second pick in the 2021 NWSL draft by the Washington Spirit not only made league history by being the youngest woman ever selected but also set the stage for her successful career. She is a standout forward for the US U-20 women's national team and the senior team. In the CONCACAF championship game in March 2020 against Mexico, she scored two goals en route to a team victory and berth in the U-20 Women's World Cup. Her national team debut came in 2022 when she scored her first goal in the same year.

She had an impressive run in her first season in 2021, earning the NWSL Rookie of the Year, NWSL Best XI, and U.S. Soccer Young Female Player of the Year honors, which culminated with her team, Washington Spirit, winning the NWSL Championship. Rodman continued her upward trajectory, signing a contract extension with Washington Spirit until after the 2024 season, with an option for 2025, making her the highest-paid player in NWSL history with an estimated contract worth $1.1 million.

In June 2023, Rodman was named to the U.S. squad for the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup in Australia and New Zealand. During a World Cup send-off international friendly against Wales on July 9, she scored a brace leading the U.S. to a 2–0 win after subbing in for Alex Morgan during the 46th minute. Named Woman of the Match, Rodman is the youngest player to score a brace in team history. She made her World Cup debut in the team's first group-stage match against Vietnam.

Rodman's achievements continued as she won the gold medal with the United States at the 2024 Paris Olympics and was part of the U.S. team that won the CONCACAF Women's Championship in 2022. Outside of her soccer career, Rodman has made appearances in commercials for brands including Verizon, Rexona, and Fox Soccer, and co-starred in a television commercial for Adidas called "The Greatest Soccer Player" with Candace Parker, Patrick Mahomes, and Aliyah Boston. She has also authored a children's book titled "Wake Up and Kick It."
