Wiley Blevins

Wiley Blevins is an author, phonics specialist, and researcher who serves as an educational consultant for Benchmark Education Company and Associate Publisher at Reycraft Books. He earned his doctorate in Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education and Bowling Green State University. Throughout his career, he has taught in various locations, including the United States and South America.

Blevins has expanded his authorship in pedagogical literature, penning over 17 books for teachers. Some of his notable works include "A Fresh Look at Phonics," "Phonics From A to Z," and "Choosing and Using Decodable Texts." His contributions to the sphere of phonics instruction extend beyond his books, as evidenced by the phonics brief he wrote for the International Literacy Association, "Meeting the Challenges of Early Literacy Phonics Instruction." Additionally, he has developed various educational programs, such as "From Phonics to Reading," which is distinguished as a high-quality foundational skills program by EdReports.

Aside from his pedagogical contributions, Blevins has written over 100 children's books.
